STRESS

At 16, Stress was a popular DJ at some of Sweden’s hottest R&B and Hip-hop clubs and took part in many events with international known artists such as Dru Hill, Ginuwine, Mc Lyte and Janet Jackson. Two years later, Stress’ music career took a new turn and he started to work as a music producer. He created a personal, unique sound and it didn’t take long before he signed with Soblue management which led to a major publishing deal with Universal Music publishing. The next natural step career wise was the international scene and today Stress has caught the attention of the US labels.

Please join us in welcoming, producer, Stress to the Roc Nation family! Can Canatan, a.k.a. Stress, was born in 1979 and raised in the Stockholm suburb Solna, known as ”Blue Hill”. S He started his career as a DJ for his childhood friends, and soon became a popular DJ at some of Sweden’s hottest R&B- and Hip-hop clubs. Two years later Stress music career took a new turn and he started to work as a music producer.

Stress officially entered the Swedish hip-hop scene, and today the music producer Stress has now caught the attention of the Us labels. He recently released the album ”Playlist” featuring 40 of the most popular artists in Sweden. All music recorded and produced by Stress.

At the present Stress is involved in collaborations with both Swedish and international songwriters and he is looking forward learn and reach his goals.
