Mzwandile Stick is a distinguished figure in South African rugby, renowned for both his playing and coaching careers.

Born in Port Elizabeth, Mzwandile Stick rose from humble beginnings in New Brighton to become a key figure in South African rugby. A former captain of the Blitzboks, he led the national Sevens team to their first World Series title in 2009. Transitioning to coaching, Stick quickly made his mark, joining the Springbok coaching staff in 2016. He has since played an instrumental role in South Africa’s back-to-back Rugby World Cup triumphs in 2019 and 2023.
