Lismar

Dominican lyricist and multi-hyphenate artist, Lismar, born on May 31, 2005, is the manifestation that occurs when intercultural exchanges meet the current digital age of Rap en Español. Rising from Los Mina, a popular sector of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic — known for birthing the most prolific artists in the movement —she initially found interest in painting and drawing. Lismar made history as the youngest Dominican to grace the iconic Bizarrap session,showcasing not only remarkable talent but also breaking barriers with their youthful energy and creative prowess.

2021: During the pandemic, Lismar discovered new influences like the world of freestyle and battle rap which revitalized her interest in music.

2022: Lismar made waves with the release of her single ‘No Me Digas Mah’ introducing a melodic trap/rap sound that generated high praise from her dedicated fan base.

2023: Marked a crucial point in her career and opening the doors to new opportunities, such as her distribution contract with Roc Nation’s Equity Distribution.

2024: Lismar has released the singles “Lismar”, “Dinero”, and the most recent “Modo Avión”. May 2024, Lismar and Bizarrap released “Session 60” which amassed over 3M streams in the first 24 hours.
