Leonardo Felipe Yasmil Garcés, better known by his stage name Leo RD, is one of the most prominent urban music producers in the Dominican Republic. Born in the humble neighborhood of Los Guandules (Santo Domingo) on March 28th, 1985, he began his musical journey at the age of 19. He has since become one of the most important figures at the forefront of the Dominican dembow genre, not only by revitalizing it, but by adding his signature take. His success has been clearly demonstrated by the global hits he has produced over the past decade. He’s worked with some of the freshest and most innovative urban talents on the international scene, such as: J. Balvin, Ozuna, Rosalía, Myke Towers, De La Ghetto or Jowell y Randy.

He still has his studio in the neighborhood where he grew up, because for Leo, it's important to stay grounded in his roots. He likes to work with new talents, explore the artistic potential of the new generations and make them feel fulfilled during the creative process. Most of dembow’s shining stars have passed through his recording studio: Tokischa, El Mayor Clasico, Rochy RD, Kiko el Crazy, Chimbala, Yomel El Meloso, Haraca Kiko, Tivi Gunz, El Fother, El Cherry Scom, Los Pikilao or Yofrangel are just some of them.

Leo RD has produced for global hits like: "Linda", "Desacato Escolar", "Corre Corre", "Alta Gama", "Pikilao", "Cooperas Con Los Federicos", "Los bobo son mía", "La Cuarentena", "Rumba", "Dejan su Loquera", "La Máxima" or "Mi Contacto", and many more!
