Memphis born and bred; Kirby, the self-proclaimed granddaughter of soul doesn’t call herself a singer or songwriter, but a song therapist.

An alumni of Berklee College of Music, KIRBY is the incredibly talented writer behind “FourFiveSeconds” by Rihanna, Kanye West, and Paul McCartney, “Tell Me You Love Me” by Demi Lovato, “Die With You” by Beyoncé, “Only One” by Kanye West and Paul McCartney, and “Break Your Heart Right Back” by Ariana Grande.

Her Debut EP “Sis”, earned her a spot on NPR's “Tiny Desk”, three of her songs were featured in Season 4 of HBO's series 'Insecure', she was also featured in the trailer for Amazon Films' 'Sylvie's Choice', and she has over 25 million streams across platforms. In 2023, Kirby and Donald Glover co-wrote all the music in SWARM (Amazon Prime), in which she voiced the central series character, Ni’jah.
