All Star pitcher Shelby Miller made his Major League debut with the St. Louis Cardinals in 2012, and is now a member of the Arizona Diamondbacks after also playing for the Atlanta Braves.

 

Miller was elected to the 2015 MLB All Star Game when he led the Braves in ERA, innings pitched and strikeouts.

 

Miller began his career with the Cardinals where he was the organization’s minor league pitcher of the year in both 2010 and 2011. In 2013, Miller finished third in the National League Rookie of the Year voting. He posted a 26-18 record and a 3.33 ERA in St. Louis from 2012-2014 before being traded to the Braves.

 

Following the 2015 season, Miller was traded to the Diamondbacks.

 

Miller was a first round draft pick of the Cardinals in 2009 after a standout prep career at Brownwood High School in Texas.
