John “JuJu” Smith-Schuster is a wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers.


Southern Californian by birth, Smith-Schuster was raised in Long Beach and attended Long Beach Polytechnic. A Rivals.com five-star recruit, Smith-Schuster committed to nearby University of Southern California to play collegiately.


An essential element of USC’s offensive game plan during his three years on campus, Smith-Schuster led the Trojans to a 10-win season and a thrilling 52-49 Rose Bowl victory. Days later, Smith-Schuster declared his intention to forgo his senior season and enter the 2017 NFL Draft.In January of 2017, Smith-Schuster signed with Roc Nation Sports ahead of the Draft.


On April 28, 2017, he was drafted 62nd overall by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2nd round of the NFL Draft.


Smith-Schuster legally changed his name from “JuJu Smith” to “JuJu Smith-Schuster” in the summer of 2015 in honor of the man who raised him, his stepfather.
