Hurts (Theo Hutchcraft and Adam Anderson) hit the charts in September 2010 with the release of their debut album 'Happiness'. Entering the UK charts at Number Four with over 25,000 sales, they achieved the title of fastest selling new band of 2010. 'Happiness' has gone on to sell over 1 million copies worldwide, with number ones in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Finland and Luxembourg and achieving Gold or platinum sales across seven countries. They toured for nearly 2 years, selling over 250,000 tickets and establishing themselves as one of the UK's most successful acts of the past 5 years.
2013 saw the release of their second album 'Exile', giving the band their second Top 10 album and achieving gold status in Poland and the Czech Republic in just 1 week. After a sold out spring european tour, and summer of festivals the band will embark on their biggest tour to date this autumn playing across arena's in Europe while starting work on their next album.
